Our Graduate Entry Medicine programme is unique in Wales and one of just a handful of similar programmes of medical study in the UK open to graduates of any discipline from the UK, EU and overseas. GAMSAT scores are valid for 2 years following the test date. Our UCAT/GAMSAT cut-off scores are determined by the number of available interviews.
This means that if you sat the test in May of 2020, your score is valid to apply for schools in May of 2020 (for 2021 intake), and also the year after in May 2021 (for 2022 A competitive gamsat score is one which will get you an interview at the university you want.
I have just finished my second year of Biomedical Science and am on an average GPA of 6.75 and got an overall GAMSAT score of 61. A VALID GAMSAT SCORE FOR DOMESTIC APPLICANTS For domestic applications to be considered at UOW GM, applicants need to have gained a minimum score of 50 for each of the three sections on the Graduate Australian Medical Schools Admission Test (GAMSAT) and an overall minimum score of 50 to be eligible to apply. This ranges between 65 to 67, depending on the university. The GAMSAT includes 5 hr 30 min of testing time and 25 min of reading time, excluding pre-testing procedures.
